Kids in Tech

As a panelist discussing "Why STEAM Education Matters and How Does It Set Children Up for Success," I emphasized the crucial role of interdisciplinary learning in shaping future success. I highlighted the impact of STEAM education on fostering critical thinking and creativity, essential skills for navigating a dynamic global landscape. Drawing from personal experiences, I stressed the transformative nature of STEAM in preparing children for both academic achievement and real-world problem-solving. The exchange of ideas during the panel further solidified my belief in STEAM as a key driver of innovation and excellence in the next generation.

Founded in 2016, Kids in Tech is a non-profit which aims to inspire children from low-income backgrounds to consider future careers in math and technology-related fields. Our Beyond the Microscope Virtual Event Series will explore how we can make STEM education more equitable and accessible to kids, especially in underrepresented communities.
