Gomez Research and Evaluation LLC

During my time at DIY Girls, I always aimed to be data driven. I started collecting survey data and analyzing results for my own decision making. Once I left DIY Girls, I had automated most of the process for data collection and analysis. Gómez Research and Evaluation Services was founded in 2020 because of my dedication to making data driven decisions.

As the Founder and CEO of Gómez Research and Evaluation Services since 2020, my role revolves around evaluating the influence of nonprofit, out-of-school STEM programs, and learning environments. I am dedicated to assessing various outcomes, such as attitudes towards STEM, interest in STEM career fields, self-efficacy, knowledge, and skills. My responsibilities include the development of tailored quantitative and qualitative measures for each client, ensuring the collection of high-quality data for both formative and summative assessments, and subsequently interpreting the results. Moreover, I actively monitor and address gender and racial equity within STEM ecosystems, tracking outcomes related to attitudes towards STEM, interest in STEM careers, and the acquisition of self-efficacy, knowledge, and skills.
